UNEM social workers link people with needed services, such as home delivered meals, transportation, home care, legal services and respite care. UNEM enables eligible clients to obtain benefits and entitlements such as SCRIE, Medicaid, Food Stamps and SSI. Staff stay involved, helping to coordinate and monitor services. Through counseling, we also help clients and families plan for the future. UNEM's professional staff provide vital services to those 60 and older who live between 14th and 59th Streets, from Fifth Avenue to the East River.
